Robert McKay is from Burlington, Vermont. His first book was Cities of rain (Honeybee Press, 2012, where he also guest edited Salon #5). Recent or forthcoming poems appear in jubilat, Green Mountains ReviewRequitedbaldhip, ditch, Existere, OccuPoetry & others. Robert is a member of Seattle’s precariat as well as its Teachers' & Transit Riders' Unions. He works as a classroom aide, tutor, copywriter, bartender and bike courier, and lives in a Capitol Hill studio with his partner, a labor organizer, & his cat, an agoraphobe.
