Vrushangi Shah

Hi! My name is Vrushangi and I am passionate about tutoring and teaching students. I have extensive teaching and mentoring experience as this is something I have constantly provided for students. I started my teaching experience as a grader at Kumon Learning Center, primarily focusing on enhancing and developing reading skills for younger students ages 3-7 years old. I have followed my passion to provide college consulting to high school students entering college as well as undergraduates pursuing graduate degrees. Through 1-1 coaching I have successful helped students attain admission to top tier programs. Some of these programs include University of Michigan, University of Maryland, University of Chicago MPH, Purdue University Engineering, Georgia Tech, George Washington MPH, USC MHA, USC MPH, UC Irvine, San Diego, Berkeley, Rutgers University, and more. My consulting experience involves building strong relationships with students to help them achieve their goals. I also hold teaching assistant experience in undergrad at Saint Louis University (SLU) & University of Southern California (USC) Sol Price School of Public Policy. I have worked with students to help the transition to college (SLU) while managing academic and social expectations. At USC, I was the teaching assistant for 80 first year MHA students. I worked to enhance resumes and interview skills, ultimately ensuring students were placed in residencies throughout the Los Angeles Metro Area.
