My name is Jacques. I live on the remote island of Martinique in the French West Indies. Mind you, Martinique is some 50 miles long and 22 miles wide… But such a wonderful place !
I am a language facilitator. I teach English and French, but I also speak Creole. I teach my learners online and on-site : not only do we share the subtleties of languages, but we also experience and enjoy interactions between the languages and their social, cultural, and geographical environments.
I am a writer. I write novels. I like to share with my audience the creative fruits of my imagination, of my emotions. My pen name is Phayne Anton.
I am a tour guide. My first work experience, when I was a student, was as a tour guide, and I have been an experienced tour guide ever since. Online or in person, I like to share my knowledge and insights about my country, culture, and environment with visitors from all over the world.
