Colleen Brady

Colleen Brady is an experienced K-12 ELA teacher and literacy specialist. As a child, she always loved listening to stories and struggled with reading. Luckily, she had an excellent reading specialist who gave her the greatest gift in the world: the ability to read. From this experience, she learned it only takes one strong mentor to transform a child’s outcomes. Colleen has been a passionate reader and writer since then and is grateful to be an educator. Her approach includes comprehensive literacy assessment, targeted explicit instruction, and multi-sensory, engaging learning activities. Outside of education, Colleen loves spending time outdoors, cooking, and writing poetry.
