Ben Karni

I'm a senior at UC Berkeley studying mechanical and energy engineering. I'm passionate about electric cars, product design, sustainability engineering, renewable energy, 3D printing, nanotechnology, and city planning, as well as learning languages, making music, and playing ultimate frisbee. I love to learn and to help others learn and it's creating those "Aha" moments in students that endlessly motivate me to teach. I'm thrilled when people gain and appreciate a fundamental understanding of cool scientific topics and understand our world a little bit better.
